Cosette +1

Clearly I couldn't just have one of these! I got two because I heard a lot of them had variation but I will have to sell one of them (hard decision :( )

Anyway first up is the one I'm keeping which is the darker of the two. I called her CRS I Dreamed a Dream....I'm sorry for this, I'm so sorry, I couldn't not!!!

This is the second one, as you can see her markings are completely different and her colour is a lot lighter!

With her 'necklace'

Here are some comparison pictures of the two models to show the difference:

Absolutely gorgeous model! She has such a beautiful face and the colour is to die for.

Falhófnir

He has finally arrived along with a hefty customs charge :(

But he is so cute I'll let him off. He is so squishy and fluffy! I'm not a Moody fan but O my he is adorable! And so tiny!

He has been called CRS Blustering Bride (no idea why but he has).

Here are some comparison pictures with the Breyer Haflinger mold, told you he was tiny!

If you are coming to Didmarton on Saturday and would like to see him in the flesh please let me know and I'll pack him. He will be at MHU anyway :)

Songbird

This is the beautiful MHL model.

I have named her CRS Bluejay Romance.

She is beyond gorgeous and is settling into our stableyard well :D

Just look at her squishy little face

Bat Country

This guy has had two coats of paint on him for ages. He was meant to be done for the CTF show earlier this year but I just hadn't got round to finishing him!

I finally managed to finish him off yesterday.

He is a mini whinnie cutting horse that has been added to a base. He has been done to brown.

So meet 'Bat Country'

Bat Country is a Members Exclusive Model. To learn about club membership see here: http://www.chestnutridge.co.uk/product/Chestnut_Ridge_Members_Club_1YUK

Colours Chosen

I want to paint three resins for Didmarton next week. I have three nice unpainted resins who need paint coats and have done some colour choosing today. I basically wanted to do them all buckskin so settled on just one buckskin style buckskin as a compromise to myself!

Anam Uasal

This is a littlebit scale Horsing Around resin that I bought as a second at AA live. This is the link to the HA page: http://www.horsingaround.com/acatalog/Friesian.html

Ever since I got this guy I knew he had to be buckskin and a dramatic one at that. So for reference I chose this gorgeous guy:

Shetland Pony

This is the HA Stablemate scale Shetland Pony resin. Here is the link to the HA page for those who don't know him: http://www.horsingaround.com/acatalog/Shetland_Pony.html

This guy has always wanted to be a leopard appaloosa but I already have a BSP so I didn't want him to be.

As a compromise I went for a Brown Buckskin instead (ok not really a compromise). This is my reference:

Horatio

Finally is my Horatio resin who has just arrived from Clare. Here is a link to a picture of him on Facebook for those who don't know him: https://www.facebook.com/MeadowviewArtistry/photos/a.623290967686625.1073741828.414889691860088/916399511709101/?type=3&theater

This guy kinda wanted to be buckskin as well but I didn't want to do yet another buckskin! So I decided to do something really different and to go for a Classic Champagne.

Here is the reference I chose for him:

So there we go! Need to actually get on and put some paint on these horses now.....the two HA resins were seconds and currently epoxy putty is setting as they needed some holes filling. Horatio has had his primer and is now ready for painting!

Tesoro de Oro

Tesoro de Oro is a new model that is available for Collector's Club pre-sale.

He is a shimmering buckskin on the Laredo mold and is priced at $65.

 Tesoro de Oro

Kashmir

Kashmir is the long awaited second release in the Big Cats series.

He is based on a Snow Leopard and is on the Goffert mold (so he may actually be a she).

I am not that keen at all...

I think it's the nose that ruins it...and the fact that the spots don't seem to cover the whole horse.
