Best of BreyerFest Stablemate Sets

BreyerFest is over and we are all receiving our horses, including for many, this year's Best of BreyerFest Stablemate set. So I thought it might be fun whilst I procrastinate from going outside and photographing my BreyerFest models to do a post just about these popular Stablemate sets.

Each of these sets contains five Stablemate models, each model is based on a previous Traditional scale BreyerFest horse from a previous BreyerFest. The sets are all inspired by models from an individual previous BreyerFest. For example, the set from 2022 was inspired by models from the 2016 BreyerFest and the 2021 set is based on BreyerFest 2011. They are one of the most popular BreyerFest items each year, often selling out quickly.

Series 1

The first set was released for BreyerFest 2020 (Celtic Fling). This was the first virtual BreyerFest as it was held during the height of Covid. There were 1500 copies of this set produced and they were sold for $60 each.

The models included in this set were:
  • Durham - Buckskin pinto G2 Warmblood based on Carlisle
  • Viaje - Chestnut pinto G4 Rivet based on Viajero
  • Gale - Silver bay blanket spotted G2 Thoroughbred based on Windswept
  • Kochab - Dapple grey (glossy) G4 Django based on North Star
  • Victoire - Bay pinto G3 Arabian based on Que Sera Sera

Shown is Viaje part of the Best of BreyerFest Series 1 set

Series 2

The second set was released for BreyerFest 2021 which was also online. This set was also priced at $60 and there were 3500 produced so a huge increase from the previous year.

The models included in this set were:
  • Grimm - Palomino blanket spotted G2 Paso Fino based on Perrault
  • Locksley - Roan G5 Lipizzaner based on Nottingham
  • Thumbelina - Buckskin G3 Highland based on Tom Thumb
  • Pendragon - Bay pinto G3 Stock Horse based on Camelot
  • Into the Woods - Grey G5 Warmblood Mare based on Happily Ever After

Shown is Thumbelina part of the Best of BreyerFest Series 2 set

Series 3

The third set was produced for BreyerFest 2022. Like the previous year there were 3500 sets produced and they were priced at $60. This was the first BreyerFest to be a hybrid in person and online event.

The models included in this set were:
  • Schumacher - Chestnut blanket spotted G3 Mustang based on Senna
  • Radler - Grey sabino G4 Walking Thoroughbred based on Caipirinha
  • Linzer - Bay pinto G5 Prince Charming based on Brigadeiros
  • Maifeld - Bay blanket spotted G3 Cantering Warmblood based on Polomar
  • Muller - Bay M1 Connemara Mare based on Pele

Shown is Muller part of the Best of BreyerFest Series 3 set

Series 4

The fourth set in the series was produced for BreyerFest 2023. The run numbers for this set were reduced down to 2000 and they sold out very quickly online. They were still priced at $60.

The models included in this set were:
  • Singletree - Bay pinto M1 Fireheart based on Honky Tonk
  • Liverpool - Grey M1 Magnolia based on Music Row
  • Whippletree - Palomino M1 Georg based on Opry
  • Landau - Roan blanket spotted G4 Driving based on Minnie Pearl
  • Hames - Red roan M1 Missouri Fox Trotter based on Walk of Fame

Series 5

The fifth set in the series was released for BreyerFest 2024 and was again very popular selling out extremely quickly online. There were 2100 sets produced and they were still priced at $60 per set.

The models included in this set were:
  • Bulletproof - Silver bay pinto M1 Clydesdale (loose mane) based on Woodford
  • Dance The Night - Grey blanket spotted M1 Fighting Stallion based on Kick Up Your Heels
  • Flowers - Chestnut G4 Dungaree (glossy) based on Bonheur
  • New Rules - Bay sabino G5 Irish Draught based on King Arthur
  • Wannabe - Bay pinto G5 Valegro based on Tacoma

Series 6

The sixth set was less popular than the previous two years remaining available for a longer period online. This set was released for BreyerFest 2025. There were again 2100 of these sets produced but they were sold at the increased price of $65 to reflect the introduction of tariffs (this saw prices on all the BreyerFest items increased in 2025).

The models included in this set were:
  • Hullabaloo - Palomino sabino G3 Thoroughbred based on C'est Bon
  • Jubilation - Palomino pinto G5 Fjord Stallion based on Truffles
  • Red Letter Day - Grey pinto G2 Saddlebred based on Tout Suite
  • Revelry - Chestnut blanket spotted M1 Smart Chic Olena based on Parfait
  • Soiree - Grey G5 Stock Horse Mare based on Creme de la Creme

Shown is Revelry part of the Best of BreyerFest - Series 6 set

Series 7

The seventh and most recent in the series this set was released for BreyerFest 2026. There were 2100 sets produced and they maintained the price of $65.

The models included in this set were:
  • Anderstorp - Buckskin pinto G4 Dressage based on Monaco
  • Faroe - Palomino G5 Mirado based on Capri
  • Kattegat - Roan pinto G5 Cantering Morgan based on Calabria
  • Stjärna - Bay pinto G6 Kit based on Seren
  • Støvel - Bay pinto M1 Indian Pony based on Totsi
I cannot wait to see what series eight brings when it is announced in 2027. What moulds and models are you hoping to see in the next series?

New Sales Models Available

I feel like everyone wants to have a clear out of models at the moment! I have had so many messages with collections and job lots for sale that I am becoming quite overwhelmed as to where I am going to store all these horses! I even purchased two new boxes a few weeks ago (which are both already full)!

Basically what I'm saying is please buy some horses as my Traditionals box is full! And I've got two more coming today and another collection next Saturday so I really could do with the space!

Anyway moving on from my space issues, I am really excited about some of the horses in this lot. There were some really beautiful models. I also have a few smaller (and more budget friendly) models available as well. That's the wonderful thing about model horses, there really is something for everyone's budget.

So here we go, all available now at Chestnut Ridge

Which one are you planning to add to your herd? My favourite is definitely Chablis, I really love him, he's one of my favourite models. 10/10 would recommend.

BreyerFest 2023 - Haul

I didn't do an unboxing video this year because I unpacked my models in the car on the way to Sussex for a family wedding (as you do). So instead you'll just have to put up with photographs of all the models and their equally bizarre names

Brendon is VERY upset that I have been incorrectly using colour names recently. He is particularly annoyed by a red rabbit called Plump Purple. As a result I am doing this deliberately to annoy him. So enjoy :)

CRS Neigh Neigh (Whip)

CRS B'dazzled Blue (Maggie)

CRS Lavender Blush (Handsome)

CRS Fiery Rose (Cyclone)

CRS Cyclonic Storm (Cyclonic)
These two were so different that I decided to keep both of them, you can clearly see the contrast in these photos, one is so light and one so dark!

CRS Old Silver (Valentina)

CRS Maastricht (Keane)

CRS Turkish Rose (Jag)

CRS Bluebonnet (Starstruck)

CRS Pink Sherbet (Meteor)

CRS Vivid Orchid (Nebula)
This is the chase piece for the unicorn set, I absolutely love the green it's such a lovely shade

CRS Maximum Purple (Sunspot)

CRS Waterspout (Stargazer)

CRS Misty Rose (Stellar)

CRS Keppel (Moonlit)

CRS Jonquil (Jonquil)

CRS Feldgrau (Feldgrau)

CRS Azure Mist (Azure)

CRS Rosso Corsa (Rosso)

CRS Cinnabar (Cinnabar)

CRS Bittersweet Llament (Bitter)
I am rather proud of this name if I may say so myself

CRS Giant's Orange (Wells)

CRS Coffee (Phantom)

CRS Cool Black (Misty)

CRS Pink Flamingo (Mojave)

CRS Dark Liver (Grand Design)

CRS Cerise (Bravour)

Not a huge haul this year and it is a little amusing that most of them aren't actually BreyerFest models! But still some really nice new models that I cannot wait to get out and show. The most disappointing aspect was the grab bag. I have put literally every model I got in it for sale, nothing there I wanted to keep or didn't already have. It was mainly Prost horses.

Catching up on Auction Models

Two weeks of flu and some other stuff going on over the last week that has seriously knocked me have meant that I haven't really been up to date with Blog posts or model horses or anything other than crying under a duvet with my squishmallows. So I am now working through and catching up with sharing everything that I have missed over the last few weeks, there will be a report on Hen Party Live at some point (preferably before the next two live shows) and also some BreyerFest updates :)

But we are going to start with the two Auction models that have been released for this year's BreyerFest so far.

First up we have my favourite, this gorgeous black leopard spotted Ashquar:

Second we have a stunning colour on this Pacer, not a fan of the mould but the colour is to die for!

Third we have another gorgeous colour but not a favourite mould of mine. A chestnut rabicano on the Justadream mould

Fourth is this very unusual Huckleberry Bey

And fifth we have a stunning chestnut sabino on the Morgan mould. This colour is just *chef's kiss*
