Athena

So I have been really bad about blog posts and for that I am eternally sorry! But here is a post.....

Athena is the latest in the goddess series. She is a chestnut sabino on the Ruffian mold. I like her a lot, but I am not quite sure about the colour. Belly patches seem too large and there should be more leg white. So blog readers here is a challenge, find a reference picture to go with her!

Anyway I have entered, if I win it will really be a miracle!

Rosita is a beautiful new china by Horsing Around. I had the pleasure of seeing three of these girls in person on Sunday at the AA live show.

Rosita

Rosita is a gorgeous little draft foal sculpted by Eberl and now available in bone china from HA.

Aurelius is the 2014 Breyer Flagship dealer model.

Personally, I'm in love! Love the mold and love the colour. Definitely going to get one at some point!

Bayberry and Roses

The Breyer Christmas horse this year is 'Bayberry and Roses'.

To say I'm not impressed is an understatement. There is absolutely nothing special about this model. It is, as far as I can tell, the existing Breyer RR Esprit (the mulberry grey one) which looks like a small child has thrown random stuff on it.

The costume just doesn't work, the model isn't anything special. Generally just lazy it seems.
