BF Live Auction Models

 Breyer have announced five of their live auction models and they are both super cute:

Firstly we have a Clydesdale Gelding in leopard spotted

Next we have a palomino Andalusian Stallion

My personal favourite is this glossy pinto Fighting Stallion

Although the lovely dapple grey Latigo is also rather lush

And finally we have this pinto Valegro

Also for those who of you who are only attending online like me, in case you haven't seen, we get the chance to purchase one randomly allocated special run model! I'm super excited about this, my favourites so far are Stein, Bears, Marzipan and Rapunzel. But of course what I really want is the surprise horse because, I LOVE SURPRISES!

 I absolutely love the Halla mould and I adore bays, so of course I adore this model:

BreyerFest Silent Auction Models

 I'm a few days behind with these but it's my favourite time of the year! When Breyer start to announce their silent auction and auction models.

Let's do a rundown of the Silent Auction models that have been released so far.

First up we have this cute little collection of models designed to pay homage to the Bremen Town Musicians

I absolutely adore the little donkey! That colour is so nice.

Show Pads

For wobbly models you need to lie them down to show them, I have three show pads that I keep in my bag so I can place these models safely in the ring.

Where do you get these? Several people who make pouches also sell them. All of mine have come from Solstice Sky Studio

Money

I keep a spare £20.00 in my show bag, this means that if I forget cash for raffle tickets I have something.

Tags/Post-it-notes

These are for writing breeds/price tags on. I have both spare tags and post-it-notes for different types of shows.

Hairbrush

This is predominantly for my haired models with extremely long manes and tails. I never brush onto the model but I do brush tails of things like Equorums out onto my leg.

Stands

Because I show a large number of very small models I have a couple of tiny acrylic blocks that I can stand them on to draw attention to them in the ring. These are particularly important for models such as Carmen who is a perlino miniature foal and often blends into the table!

Model Horse Guilty Pleasures: Tiny Plastic Animals

Today I have a post filled with eye candy for you, but I've decided to go a little outside what I normally share and focus on things that aren't horses! Today I have pages and pages of tiny plastic animals to share with you :D

My Favourite Citadel Paint Formulas

Happy Saturday everyone :) Today I thought I would share some of my favourite paint formulas with you. These are my go-to formulas when painting these colours, although I do vary things depending on the shade and the reference picture.
