Breyer 2013 Range

The Breyer 2013 range has been announced.

Not only are there some gorgeous models on some old favourite molds (including a lovely Sham) but there is also a good variety of new molds! A selection of molds that were released as part of last years Premier collection are now being released as regular runs and of course the ever popular Tortillas is also being released.

This catalog is not completely comprehensive it does, for example, miss out the decorator Stablemates but it's a pretty good overview!

Christmas Is A Time For Giving

Christmas is meant to be a time for giving and as a result Chestnut Ridge is adding a new charity auction to eBay everyday.

Each auction is a 20% charity auction which means 20% of the proceeds will go towards the chosen charity. Charities will be chosen at random everyday and each day will have a new charity.

This post will be updated every day throughout December as we list new listings. We hope you enjoy!

More Customs...

Well I had to do a few more this weekend I was in the mood for painting, silly to let that go to waste!

First up is something very special. This is a custom Breyer Gilen foal, I can't remember the last time I did a Traditional foal custom and this one is definitely very special. I knew from the very start that he had to be leopard appaloosa...

So of course he ended up as one :p

The second is a very simple yet very nice G2 Paso Fino to grey

Today's Customs

I nice long post showing you the pieces that I finished today. Lots of variety with these ones!

Black Shire Foal

This is the Schleich Shire foal mold and has been painted to black with four white socks and a white stripe.

Bay Pinto Foal

This is the Breyer scrambling foal mold and has been painted to a bay pinto

Mini Pegasus

This is a mini whinnie draft horse that has had wings added and real feathers added

Grey CollectA Hanovarian

This is the CollectA Hanovarian and has been pastelled to a light grey

Now to the best bit about this custom, his face. I really wish he was a real horse he has such a wonderfully honest face, he would be a wonderful horse

Tuesday

Tuesday was another of those weird days where I had a lot of other things to do so things were all a little not normal...

As we didn't have EU law in the morning and I had no food I persuaded the husband to drive me to Tesco so I could do a big shop...that way I won't have to go shopping again for ages freeing up more time to work!

Once we got back I did a brief amount of work (that tort case from yesterday....) before I had to go home to go to the dentist..

Despite being in agony I was told that it is not my wisdom tooth (although it feels exactly the same as the other one which they had to remove) and that it is actually my jaw....didn't even get some decent pain killers....

Once back I proceeded to do an hours worth of land law reading on registered land, particularly important as I'm missing two lectures for the law buddying (not good I know). The Dixon textbook is really good though, one of my favourites so that is helpful at least!

I then did 15 minutes of Spanish before doing half an hour of EU reading and heading off to Tort law. I ran out of coffee in tort law (never good) think I might start taking two flasks with me, these end of day lectures are not good for my energy levels they sort of hit me in the lull before my sedatives wear off and whilst I'm still feeling tired.

Once home my husband cooked (always good, I have him well trained) before updating my website with some new products requested by a customer (see I'm a nice business owner I'm always open to customer requests, if they ask they get most of the time) before doing some work on my cross stitch bookmark (I would add a picture but currently it is a load of red blobs on a red strip of aida so not particularly interesting).

More law buddying tomorrow and the first internal debate (v. nervous about how that will go).

Two More Commission Pieces

These guys had their paint work finished last week but I didn't get around to sealing and glossing them today.

Their new owner is Sarah Hindmarsh and she seems happy with them :D

First up is a G3 Percheron. Sarah asked for him to be pinto in any colour apart from black...so she got bay! But you can see why I chose it, he's a very handsome boy!

Next up is another Percheron. She was more specific with this one and asked for white grey.

His face is just to die for!
