Breyer Mid-Year Releases?

So my new favourite thing is Breyer leaking their own products on their own Amazon store. They did it with the 2026 range and it looks like they've done it again with the mid-year releases.

Two new Traditional models popped up on Amazon USA overnight. If you want to view these you need to set your location to the USA. I actually do not have the energy to do this right now so you are going to get screen shots stolen off someone else!

First is Caprechio del Richuelo

This is a fleabitten grey on the El Pastor mould. He reminds me a lot of Luz de Luna but there are more fleabites and a bit more depth to his colour. I actually quite like this mould, it has a sweet face and a nice mane.

Second is my absolute favourite Mr. Shining Gun

I love the Dundee mould and the colour on this model is incredible! There is so much depth and shading and the spots! If he looks like this in person he is going to be a stunning model in any collection. Breyer have really upped their game with this guy. Definitely adding him to my collection, he's the nicest 2026 release so far in my opinion.

First Batch of Auction Models

Breyer have announced the first batch of auction models for BreyerFest 2026 and we are off to a really good start!

So let's go through the first four models.

Lot #1 - Smart Chic Olena in Liver Chestnut Overo

This is my personal favourite of this batch. The colour was designed by Darynn Bednarczyk and is utterly gorgeous! I love the pattern and the liver chestnut coat colour is just beautiful

Lot #4 - Cantering Welsh Pony in Glossy Sun-Faded Black Blanket Spotted

This is my second favourite of the batch. The colour is just beautiful on this little girl and we just do not see enough Cantering Welsh Ponies. It's not a perfect mould but it's so cute (and of course it has plaits and we all know how I feel about a model with plaits). Designed by Christina Riley.

Lot #5 - Valegro in Dapple Bay Roan

This is my fourth choice from this batch (I wasn't just going in order)! I do like the colour on him but he doesn't strike me as much as the others do. I can see him being a good show horse though.

Lot #6 - Lady Phase in Pearl Double Dilute Tobiano Pinto

This is my third choice just because the colour is so unusual. I much prefer the swishy tail variation of Lady Phase but this girl is nice too. A classic mould but in a really unusual colour. Designed by Sommer Prosser.

Let me know your favourite from the first batch. You never know, might win the lottery before July and be able to get that Cantering Welsh Pony (clearly a good use of any lottery based winnings)

BreyerFest 2026

OK so I know I've been really bad when it comes to updates this year and haven't actually featured any of the BreyerFest releases for 2026. So I decided that I'd do a massive post with all of them in and a run down of who I definitely want to add to my collection at this year's BreyerFest.

The theme of BreyerFest 2026 is Midsummer Fair which is basically a Scandinavian theme. I'll let you guys make your minds up about the extent to which each of these models fits the theme. The other interesting thing they've done this year is release the model variations in advance (with the exception of the surprise horse) so you can see if you are going to get the chance of a variation. I'm not sure how I feel about this, it kinda takes the excitement out of Friday afternoon and seeing all the variations get released as people post them. We do still get the surprise horse surprise though!

OK so let's go through what is on offer this year

Corgi Hill Flinka

2026 Celebration Horse
Comes with all VIP/All-Acess/Fan/Online Traditional Access tickets

There were no prizes for guessing that this year's celebration horse was going to be a Fjord on the new Fjord mould! I mean it was either going to be that or an Icelandic!

Single Day Stablemates

Available with General Admission & Online Stablemate tickets. VIP ticket holders get a full set & All-Access ticket holders who purchased before the end of February also get a single model.

Usually also available online to purchase a full set.

I didn't get a Stablemate ticket this year as none of them stuck out to me. I'll probably grab one if I see them at a good price in the UK at a later date.

Helsinki

Copenhagen

Uppsala

Keflavik

Contest Prizes

Lingonberry

Lingonberry is the Best Customs Contest champion prize

Gravlax

Gravlax is the Best Customs Contest runner up prize

OK so there we go, that is BreyerFest 2026 summed up. Obviously now we wait for my favourite part - the merch reveal! Because do I need a new water bottle? Absolutely not. Am I definitely going to purchase a new water bottle at BreyerFest? Absolutely yes. Seriously the water bottle situation is getting out of hand, I need to stop, this is not healthy consumerism, I feel like one of those Stanley cup influencers but with BreyerFest water bottles. It's really not OK.

Breyer 2025 TSC Exclusives

You've probably already seen a couple of these guys as they were leaked earlier in the year but here is the full run down of Breyer 2025 TSC Exclusives

First up we have this year's FFA model. This is Emery a lovely blue overo on the Firefly (Standing Quarter Horse Mare) mould

OK sorry I should have edited the picture it has way too much white around it! Anyway just go with the giant white box.

Second we have my person favourite which is Brooks. Brooks is a gorgeous buckskin pinto on the Morgan Stallion mould.

Next up we have a popular model on an older mould. Lots of people love this guy. I do like the San Domingo mould and the colour is really nice. This is Colby.

Finally we have one of my least favourite Breyer moulds, the Llama aka Mustang Mare. TBH I also really don't like Firefly as a mould so there are two not like moulds out of this batch. That said I do quite like the light bay colour on this girl. This is Martina.

Which is your favourite TSC exclusive this year? Mine is definitely Brooks.

Thunderbird

Why is it that every year I am not in the Vintage Club the models they produce are just gorgeous? And of course they've gone and released a Silver!

This gorgeous Silver is this year's "new mould, old colour" offering. Incidentally if I had a pound for everytime someone said ThAt'S nOt A vInTaGe MoDeL on my posts about Vintage Club releases I would probably have enough money to join the Vintage Club each year.

He's a Gambler's Choice and comes in four vintage colours.

My personal favourite is definitely the light bay, I have always loved that colour (and of course he is glossy as well). The palomino is also beautiful.

O and not only that if you complete your final purchase you'll get this year's free Stablemate which is a super cute little Lipizzan!

He comes with a super cute little box that mirrors the Vintage Lipizzan model

Tuesday, 4 April 2023

Shelby

Personally I'm really disappointed that the April Fool's wasn't real and he doesn't have a hogged mane, he looked so beautiful with it!

But alas he does not

Shelby is the latest Collector's Club special run. He is a gambler's choice model with three available colours and will be available later in the month

Which is your favourite? Mine is definitely the glossy bay (no surprises here)!

Kansas and Willamette

Kansas and Willamette are this year's Custom Contest Prizes for BreyerFest 2023

They are really lovely, I like that they've broken away from the black and white theme that we've seen the last few years

First up is Kansas

A really lovely chestnut blanket spotted on the Forever Saige mould (GINGER LLAMA)

Second we have Willamette

A lovely chestnut sabino on the Galloping Arabian Stallion mould. I really love the colour on this little guy.

Big Ben Test Run

The colour on this guy is just incredible! I love a buckskin and this one is just so unique and beautiful, imagine this colour on an actually nice mould.

If you like hi you can enter for him at www.breyerhorses.com if you are selected he will cost $1500

Magpie

Magpie is the second release in the Breyer Birds of a Feather Collector's Club series.

He is a gorgeous glossy black pinto on the Show Jumping Warmblood mould.

I just love how shiny he is!

Of course having my own little Magpie I just had to enter for him

My little Magpie was most pleased because I was picked for the Magpie horse! Thankfully PayPal pay in three exists so I was able to get him. He's the first one I've had in several years so I'm super excited to have been chosen an to have my own little Magpie horse :D

Gonna make Magpie unbox him when he arrives
