Vintage & Premier Club Grab Bags

If you are in the Breyer Vintage or Premier clubs then you can get hold of grab bags at the moment!

They are a random drawing, so you have to enter for them, and they are only available for club members. Go to www.breyerhorses.com and login to your account to enter.

They contain a random model from the previous years of the club. I've had a few of these over the years and have been able to add some lovely models to my herd and also get some ummm victims.

I've entered for the vintage one, I haven't been a member the last few years so hoping I'll get one from then and not one of the ones I already have!!!

If you do get one let me know who you get! And if you get a duplicate of one you already have shout, I may be able to rehome it for you :)

I would be over the moon if I got picked and got a Rockford in mine! HE SO SHINY!

New Breyer Test Run

Breyer have released a new Test Run for collector's club members to enter for.

The model is a chestnut Misty's Twilight, if you are a Collector's Club member you can enter online to try and get her. If you are lucky enough to be selected she'll set you back a mere $850. Which tbf is less than her after market value but still you might want to keep that in mind!

As nice as it would be to own one of these I can't say she is for me. It's probably one of the worst moulds Breyer have ever produced and this colour is a bit "meh" for my tastes. But if you conga the mould then she is a must have!

Fabio

Remember at BF last year the Collector's Club members got the chance to choose between three different splash models?

Well the winner is....Duende!

Collector's Club members can now head along to Breyer's website and purchase the latest Collector's Club release.

I really love him but I'm going to hold off for now. I doubt he'll still be around when the next vintage club model is released in June but a girl can dream :p If he is then we will test how well my travel card actually works online and spend some of those BF savings.

Vintage Club 2020

Now normally I'm the kind of self restrained person that says "I'm going to BF next year I won't spend money"

But normally doesn't come into it when we look at the 2020 Vintage Club.

First of all I give you everyone's dream horse:

The moment they said it actually came with the comb and stuff they had me!

And then there are the pretty standard Vintage releases like this girl:

And then there's the Gambler's Choice. Take a moment. Breath. Then look...

..

...

....

.....

Yes you are not seeing things, that is an IN BETWEEN MARE GAMBLER'S CHOICE MODEL!!!

I mean if you are not screaming at your laptop right now then why not? How lush do they look? BEYOND LUSH!

I NEED ALL THREE!!

So guess what I just joined :p

If you too are completely lacking in self-control you can join the Vintage Club here: https://www.breyerhorses.com/products/2020-vintage-collectors-club

Hamilton

Breyer's latest Premier Club release Hamilton is now available to order for Premier Club members. This stunning American Saddlebred Stallion was sculpted by Jennifer Scott and is priced at $141.66 if you are a member of the Premier Club.

As always I'm waiting to see what he looks like 'in the flesh' before I think of ordering one, but he is definitely pretty! I can't wait to see him as a regular run and get a custom, I'm already thinking of course. Poor Deb is going to get harassed with emails when this guy comes out!

If you are a Premier Club member you can login to your account and order him now at www.breyerhorses.com

Iris

The fourth release in the Breyer Stablemate's Club, and this year's Gamblers choice model, is now available to order for domestic members.

International members have to wait until December to order their final three.

Iris is a gorgeous little pony on the G3 Highland mould.

There are four colour ways available:

Grey Pinto
Silver Dapple
Cremello Blanket Spotted
Decorator

Which of the four variations are you hoping for?

Personally I would really like the silver dapple (that gloss is lush) or the cremello blanket spotted. None of them would make a good purebred Highland so who cares what colour! That decorator is also gorgeous.

Now there's just the really really really really really long wait until January when I get my one and find out who I've got! Last year I got lucky, the year before I didn't, so who knows. To be fair I would be happy with any of these four they are all really nice.

Got your model? Drop a comment below and let me know which colour variation you received!

Fairytale Friends Club

Breyer have finally opened their latest club for entries.

A few weeks back they put up a teaser about their new Fairytale Friends Club and now it has finally been announced!

It works in a similar way to the Stablemate club, with international and domestic options. That means that international members can opt to receive their horses in two shipments of six rather than two at a time, saving money on postage.

You will receive two sets with each payment, priced at $25 per set (which is better value than the Stablemate club)!

As well as the Stablemate scale model you also get a little mini whinnie model. The Oberon in the teaser picture is actually a new Mini Whinnie mould!

If you want to sign up you can do so on the Breyer website now: https://www.breyerhorses.com/products/fairytale-friends-deposit-only

You will need to pay a $30 deposit and also be a Collector's Club member.

Teton

Teton is the latest release from the Breyer 'America the Beautiful' series. She is available now for Collector's Club members to enter for.

As usual she is given on a lottery basis and priced at $155.00

She is a lovely grulla pinto on the Giselle mould.

I'm avoiding entering because I am mega poor right now (I went a bit OTT with prizes for Herefordshire live and bankrupt myself...)

But you can enter for her at www.breyerhorses.com if you are a Collector's Club member.

Beau

The results are in and the colourway for the Collector's Club special edition Warmblood Stallion is....grey pinto!

Beau is priced at $75.00 and is available now for Collector's Club members to order. There are two variations available, plaited and full, but which one you will get will be a surprise!

Personally I'm loving the plaited, he is definitely my first choice, but I think I'll wait and order on the second hand market, money is a bit tight at the moment (I may have accidentally acquired a new AA....).

P.S. I'm sorry for the lack of Blog posts recently, Google essentially blocked my access to Blogger, basically telling me everytime I tried to login that I wasn't allowed access. After much cookie deleting, browser updating and general shouting this evening I seem to have concurred the internet demons and got myself back in! We've got a lot to catch up on!

Bandelier

Bandelier is the latest release from Breyer's America the Beautiful series.

He is open now for Collector's Club members to enter for on the Breyer website.

Muir Woods is HERE!

I am absolutely so excited by my new arrival. Having spent an entire weeks wages on this boy I can say I really don't regret it. I'm so annoyed that tomorrow's show is a minis show, I wish I could take this boy along with me to show! But there's another live show in a couple of weeks so he'll get a chance to go and grace the show ring soon.

Muir Woods was a Breyer Collector's Club special run, for those who don't know me and my bad luck, I've been a club member since the Breyer Collector's Club started and this is only the third time I've ever been picked for a model!

So despite not being able to afford it, I just knew I had to have him, he is by far the prettiest of the three (the others are Poseidon and Avalanche).

So without further ado say hello to CRS Caramel Impulse (Muir Woods)

I mean seriously he is SO SHINY

No photo description available.

I wacked the brightness up on this one to show you just how beautiful he is!

Am I not the luckiest potato ever? I very much feel that way! I just want to show him off to EVERYONE! LOOK AT MY SHINY BEAN!

O and in further news he of course came with a mystery bag to get decent packaging....I now have three of the blue Unicorn Magnolias! Probably didn't need a third one :p But hey more customising fodder!

Friday, 8 February 2019

Fiero

Fiero, the first release in the Breyer Stablemates club, is now available to order!

Which one are you after? Matte or glossy? Personally I want a glossy one, can't wait until July when mine arrives and I get to see who I get! (the many joys of being an international member...).

Lots of people have been asking when we buy as international members. As long as you have an international membership you order all three in June in one shipments. When you login you shouldn't have the option to purchase him at all.

Just look at the dapples on the glossy! O I so hope I get a glossy one!

Muir Woods

Muir Woods is the first Collector's Club web special for 2019. Part of the America the Beautiful series he is a seriously stunning glossy chestnut on the Saddlebred mould.

When is pay day again?

I NEED THIS BOY!

If you are a Breyer Collector's Club member you can enter for him online now: https://www.breyerhorses.com/pages/introducing-muir-woods

How Do The Breyer Clubs Work?

This question pops up a lot this time of year, usually from people in the UK wanting to know exactly how much they cost and how they actually work.

So here is my beginners guide on the Breyer clubs, how much they cost, what you get and how they work!

You can sign up for all these clubs before the end of December at www.breyerhorses.com

Collector's Club

Cost Per Year: $35.00
Sign Up Deadline: None

The Collector's Club is the basic Breyer club. It is open to everyone and it is open all year round.

Important note - in order to join all the below clubs you need to be a Collector's Club member!

What do you get?

For your $35.00 a year membership you get:

JAH Magazine
10% Off Regular Run Models at www.breyerhorses.com
Access to Special Run Models
Access to Collector's Event

There is no mandatory purchase model with this club, $35.00 is the most you have to spend in the year.

What Models?

You don't have to buy any of the Collector's Club models they are completely optional but you have the choice to buy the following (this does vary from year to year):

2x Collector's Club Traditional Special Runs priced at $65.00 - $75.00 each.
1x Gambler's Choice Classic Model priced at $35.00 each
1x Christmas Gamblers Choice priced at $95.00 each (with free shipping)!

Starlet is a Collector's Club special run, she is priced at $75.00

As well as this you also have the chance to 'win' the opportunity to buy rarer models. You have to enter for these and only those who are drawn get the chance to purchase them.

These models are usually priced between $135.00 - $185.00 each (limited to 300 pieces)
Test Run models usually priced around $800.00 each (limited to 1 piece)

Banesque is one of the more recent Collector's Club Special Runs. Were you lucky enough to be picked for him?

On top of this there are also chances to get various other Collectors special items or days.

Collector's Club Grab Bags - Usually $150.00 each and containing a BreyerFest model or other special run
Collector's Day - This happens in December, you spend over $150.00 and get a free glossed model
Black Friday Deals - Access to Special Runs (such as BreyerFest, Premier or Vintage models) on Black Friday

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs on all these items are usually around $60.00. The only exception is the Christmas Day special run which comes with free international shipping making it a great purchase for club members. I highly recommend buying this one, it's worth it!

Stablemate Club

Deposit: $30.00
Each Model Cost: $20.00
Total Models: 6
Sign Up Deadline: December 31st

In order to join the Stablemate Collector's Club you need to first join the Collector's Club (above).

The Stablemate Club gives you access to six new models each year. This is a buy in scheme, you must buy all the models. Failure to purchase a model will result in you being unable to purchase future models.

As a model becomes available you will need to purchase it within a certain time frame (usually a couple of weeks).

International Membership

International membership works slightly differently to the US based membership. Here you buy the models in two instalments of three coming to $60.00 per purchase. There is also reduced shipping if you only order the models. This is designed to save you shipping costs but does mean you have to wait to receive your models each year.

Shipping Dates

USA: February, April, June, August, October & December
International: June & December

The Models

There are six models each year. These always include:

At least one new mould (there are two for 2019)
Gamblers Choice model (usually four different colourways)
Vintage mould (there is usually a G1 mould)

Shown above are the six different moulds for 2019

Shipping Costs

International shipping usually comes to between $30-40 but if you purchase any other items with your Stablemate club models you will see your shipping costs jump to $50-60.

Vintage Club

Deposit: $100.00
Each Model Cost: $115.00
Total Models: 4*
Sign Up Deadline: December 31st

*excludes free Stablemate and extra purchase models

In order to join the Vintage Club you need to first join the Collector's Club (above).

The Vintage Club gives you the chance to purchase four new 'vintage' models each year. These could be either vintage moulds in new or vintage colourways or modern moulds in vintage colourways.

This is a buy in scheme which means you need to purchase all four models. Failure to buy one of the core four models will mean you forfeit your membership.

Shipping Dates

The models ship every 3 months in: January, April, July & October

The Models

There are four core models for the club. This will usually include a Gambler's Choice model.

As well as this you also have the chance to purchase one extra model (this is usually a modern mould in a vintage colourway but this year it wasn't)! You do not have to buy this model as part of your membership, it is entirely optional.

If you complete all four core purchases you will receive a free Stablemate around December time. This will be sent to you free of charge with no shipping cost.

Rockford is one of the 2019 Vintage Club releases

Shipping Costs

International shipping costs for the individual models are around $60.00 each. There is no shipping charge on the free Stablemate.

Premier Club

Deposit: $100.00
Each Model Cost: $141.66
Total Models: 3*
Sign Up Deadline: December 31st

*excluding free Stablemate

In order to join the Vintage Club you need to first join the Collector's Club (above).

The Premier Club gives you the opportunity to purchase three brand new sculptures each year. Like the Vintage and Stablemate club this is a buy in scheme which means you need to purchase all the models, if you fail to make a purchase you will forfeit your club membership.

Shipping Dates

The models ship in: May, August & November

The Models

There are three new sculptures each year. These will vary from year to year and may include a mare and foal set (such as in 2019).

As long as you purchase all three models you will also receive a free Stablemate on a new mould. This will be painted to look like a mini version of one of the larger Premier Models from that year.

One of the 2019 Premier Club releases, a Welsh mare and foal.

Shipping Costs

International shipping costs are around $60-70 per model.

Can I Combine Shipping?

One of the questions that is often asked is how easy it is to combine shipping. You are usually given a couple of weeks to purchase models from the Stablemate, Vintage and Premier clubs and Collector's Club models will remain available until they sell out. For the entry based Collector's Club models you will only have a few days to make your purchase if you are drawn.

Take a look at the month list below to see what you could combine:

January: Vintage Club
February: Stablemate Club (USA)
March:
April: Stablemate Club (USA); Vintage Club
May: Premier Club
June: Stablemate Club (USA); Stablemate Club (International)
July: Vintage Club
August: Stablemate Club (USA); Premier Club
September:
October: Stablemate Club (USA); Vintage Club
November: Premier Club
December: Stablemate Club (USA); Stablemate Club (International)

So in 2017 I was a member of all three clubs. So what did I manage to combine?

Well in June I combined my Premier and Stablemate Club models.

In September I combined my Premier and Vintage club models.

The year prior to that I managed to combine my Stablemate Club & Vintage Club models in June. Because you have a couple of weeks to purchase it is worth holding out to see what you can combine it with.

I hope that helps! All the memberships I've spoken about above are available to order from www.breyerhorses.com until December 31st.

OMFG BUT LOOK A WELSH FOAL!!!!!!

I've now amended this post to include a decent image! These were announced on the Breyer Horse Instagram which is awash with new model news at the moment and I highly recommend you follow.

Yep that's right, the first Premier models of 2019 are a Welsh mare and foal sculpted by Josine Vingerling.

I'm honestly dying, they are perfect, I need at least 20 *throws money at Breyer*

Which Mule?!??!

The Stablemate Gambler's Choice mules have arrived at their homes for USA members (I know us international member's will have to wait until December/January until ours arrive).

So the question is...

Which Finn did you get?

Share your pics with me! I would love to see what everyone got :) Obviously I'm hoping for the rainbow one (shocker) but as with all things I'll be happy whichever one I get :) The glossy chestnut is actually really nice and I would love a spotty botty as well.

2019 Stablemate Club Moulds

Breyer have announced sneak peaks of the first four 2019 Stablemate club moulds.

First we have Mirado:

2019 SM Club #1.png

Secondly we have the G1 Morgan Mare:

2019 SM Club #2.png

Then we have a new mould and a G3 Highland

(for some reason despite being a current member it won't let me access the Stablemate Club News on the new Breyer website so thank you to the very kind people who have posted screenshots on Facebook)!
