2017 Flagship Model

Well we knew it was going to be a pinto Croi but pictures finally emerged yesterday of next year's Flagship model.

Isn't she just gorgeous? I'm going to have to get one of these in from the US I think :D

Black Schleich Black Forest

Weird title...

Anyway this pretty little guy was finished off today. Yes I know he's another black but he has such a rich coat and the colour does kinda suit him.



Just look how much depth there is to that black, he's just gorgeous!

O and look we are having some lighting success at last! I have made new camera and new flash work together in harmony to make a dun horse not look yellow

Cross Country Jump Tutorial

It will show you how to simply adapt the Breyer Cross Country Jump (which you can find for sale here: http://www.chestnutridge.co.uk/cross-country-jump-34755-p.asp ) to make it performance ready.

Basically just lollipop sticks and card! It's a really lovely jump. Think I'm going to have to invest in a decent tack set and rider for 2017 now!

The Bucket

So this little guy should have been finished on Tuesday.

But then the airbrush did what airbrushes do best and splattered black paint all over him (I thought I had fixed the fault....but apparently not).

So I thought about chucking him in the bargain bucket.

I thought about splash white maybe?

I thought about just painting him black?

But then I had the idea of turning him into an extreme blanket spot, and it kinda worked



So not really the nice buckskin Welsh D I had aimed for but actually kinda unique and nice!

Glossy Cosette

If you are a Collector's Club member and spend over $100 today you could get a free glossy cosette with your purchase:



It's unclear how many there are but it appears to be that there are around 500 (as it does say the first 500 purchases).

However, things like the grab bags don't qualify (which sucks). So I'm definitely passing. If the grab bags had qualified I would have bought number one (I know someone who wants the Sherman Morgan from it), but as not, I shall pass.

My New Babies

So turns out an Animal Artistry spares night two days before my birthday whilst with my model horse enabler is not necessarily a good thing in terms of "not buying too many new ponies"

I have four beautiful new arrivals to introduce you to.

First of all, my newest clinky. I know I shouldn't have, but Laura said I should and she is really really pretty



Named CRS Y Dymestl or Livinia for short (was going to go with Miranda which would obviously have worked better but it didn't seem to suit her)



Next up is the first of my new RubberNedz



Named CRS Laertes Rex (sticking with the greek kings theme and my Rex suffix)



Now I said I wanted a buckskin and a Working Hunter. So it isn't really surprising that I got this girl :p



As she's my first Working Hunter I have no name theme for her. So I went with CRS Murano Summerso (Murano), the name theme for the working hunters will be 'glasswear'



And finally, my birthday present from Brendon. I deliberately asked her not to trim his mane. She does normally do much neater looking horses :p



This is CRS Peregrine Byrant (sticking with the Peregrine prefix) or 'Bacon' for short :p



So there we go! Sooo many ponies :p I may also have one on order that is my Christmas present from Brendon :D
