Celebration of Breyer Live 2025 - Supreme Trophies!
I am so excited about these trophies! I wanted to do something really different this year, I looked through lots of different options and in the end settled for these unusual acrylic block trophies. I normally go for glass or your standard plastic gold trophies so these were definitely something different.
Unfortunately I did mess up a bit as I typed the wrong number and chose the wrong colour for the Supreme Champion trophy! I wanted the blue and gold colour which matched the blue and yellow theming for the rest of the show, but I don't think I ruined it, the gold is very nice.
The Supreme Champion trophy is the largest and then the two reserve trophies are the same size. They are made from transparent acrylic which means to photograph them well they do need to be on a plain black drop (hence the blanket)! I chose a trophy symbol as the two horse ones both had broken legs (although I could have done the Chestnut Ridge logo but decided against it).
Do you like them? Prefer them over glass/plastic normal ones we do? I'd love to know your opinions!
If you want to order similar ones for your show they are from cookiesandkoalas on eBay.

Elizabeth
This poor girl was finished weeks ago but has been sat in my study waiting to have her glamour shots taken!
Elizabeth is Sallie micro resin sculpted by Maggie Bennett. Sallie was available as part of the Micro Club back in 2019. She is the resin variation. Sallie was sculpted as a Shire mare but I have decided to paint her as a non-Shire colour so she can be a nice heavy Cob instead.
I painted Elizabeth to a beautiful smokey black with no white markings. Smokey black is an unusual colour as in reality it is very hard to distinguish from a normal black horse. The key is it has a lot more shading and appears almost a bit 'duller', but in reality it is almost impossible to tell! I didn't have a smokey black horse in my collection so, as part of my project to add as many missing colours as possible, decided to paint a suitable model.
She has been painted in airbrushed acrylics with pastel shading. She has hand painted details. I left her with no white markings as I was really happy with her coat colour and it was just nice to have something without lots of white!
I wanted to give her a proper girl's name and having gone through a really long list I settled on Elizabeth, I then decided she might as well keep it as her show name as well, it just suits her. She's a proper Cob mare, nothing special or fancy, but probably a real sweetheart. So she didn't need a big fancy name, just plain Elizabeth.
I did hit a slight hiccup when I realised there is literally no space left in my china cabinet and she's actually quite big for a micro. I found a small gap next to a medallion and slotted her in, I won't be getting many more in though!

Rambler
Breyer have released their first gambler's choice Classic scale Collector's Club model of the year and I am in love!
Rambler is available in three different colourways each with a glossy finish. The first colour is a gorgeous bay leopard spotted with really heavy shading and roaning across his coat. The second colour is a nice buckskin pinto with lovely marking shapes and a cute white stripe. The third colour is a light dapple grey with nice shading on the legs and a cute grey snip.
This model is Classic scale and is on the Wahoo King mould. This is one of my favourite Classic moulds and is a great little performance horse. They have a peg in the front hoof which raises them slightly off the ground for a really dynamic look.
These models are available to order now for Collector's Club members. They are priced at $35.00 each.
Which colour are you hoping for? I think my favourite is the grey.
