Chennai

I have a new herd member to introduce :)

You may remember that on our last trip to Canada I purchased a Safari toob full of ponies to customise. Well over the years I have slowly been painting them, one by one. The latest completed one is the little Vanner.

For this guy I went with a chocolate roan with four white socks and a white stripe.



He has been named CRS Chennai (or Curry for short)



The reason I chose the name is because when I posted a picture of him on Instagram my phone autocorrected 'custom' to 'curry'. And well it has sort of stuck :p

Here he is chilaxing with his custom safari mini pals:



There are still a couple left to do from the toob. Maybe I'll have them all done before I next go back to Canada :p

Foaly

I actually finished this little guy on Friday but only just got around to photographing him (still haven't photographed the breastplate I also finished on Friday...)



He's a little 'white' foal. I'd say dominant white sabino, but the reference picture was rather unhelpful in its description :p



He will be listed for sale shortly

Bandera

Another Prize for Crimson Coral CM Live

I'm still struggling with getting the right balance with this lens and flash, I'm sure we will get there eventually! Currently I am experimenting with balancing a white board on my leg and reflecting the flash off it...

Giant Volcano?!?!?!?

I just had to share this new product from Schleich that I completely forgot to share before.

It's a giant volcano with dinosaurs!

(I want one of these for Christmas)



I'm totally getting one of these next time we do a Schleich order.

Three New OFs

I've got three new original finish models to share with you all. Nothing special but all rather nice.

First up is the Morgan mare and foal set. I absolutely love the colour on the mare, although I'm still not sold on the mould.

And secondly is the Stablemate Horse & Rider Set - English. This was a gift for helping someone out with something. I have been after this boy since the set came out, he's rather pretty.

Both are really pretty, I love the mane and tail on the rocky. Gorgeous!

Crimson Coral CM Live - Prizes!

I'm starting work on getting everything organised for my shows next year. With a show every 4 weeks I need to be prepared!

So I've been working on the section prizes for Crimson Coral CM Live. I like to always try and give something that is section appropriate. Hence these two! There will be six horses in total for the section champions once I am finished.

Breyer Lamp

I've been desperate for a Breyer lamp or clock for a while (would love a Clock Horse). So when I saw someone selling this I just had to have it :D

Completely in love with it, Brendon wants to wire it up, I may allow that at some point. But for now it is just sitting in odd places until I can find somewhere to actually keep it!



It's the Ranchcraft Lamp from the 1960s in Woodgrain (there was also a bay one)



And as you can see has a running mare and foal with it



It's in very good condition, bit of rot underneath, but the horses themselves are doing very well for their age



They have such cute faces!
